As more states legalize same-sex marriage and the U.S. Supreme Court is poised to issue a decision on whether or not the Defense of Marriage Act is Constitutional, the Task Force is analyzing the implications for employers and benefit plans, and is prepared to provide assistance in all aspects of benefit plan compliance when the Supreme Court issues its decision, which is expected in June.
